Section 6: Manipulation Tools

The Select tool is the default tool you will use for grabbing and moving selected images. When finished with other selected tools, you will generally want to click on the Select tool to return to your basic mouse pointer so you can continue to move or otherwise manipulate images.

The Edit Point tool is used for moving or deleting specific points for images you have drawn. It will not work with pre-created library images.

A Point refers to an anchor or break point, which is the point where the design changes direction (kind of like a dot-to-dot puzzle) and the blade is directed to change direction or swivel during the cutting process.

When a point is highlighted, your cursor will turn into a multi-directional cross showing you that you may move the point to any desired location. You may click and hold down on any point to move it to another location. You may also right, click on any point and be given the option to delete it, shown below:

Please note that points will not be shown if the image is selected for resizing or rotating. They will only be displayed if the Edit Point tool is selected.
